La Tapatia Mexican - Houston

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my wife, and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered the mondongo, a smothered chicken burrito, and beef enchiladas, and each dish was fantastic. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We'll definitely be returning!

During my first visit, the service was lacking. Our waitress took a long time to attend to us and never inquired if we needed anything else. However, the food was quite good.

Excellent house margaritas. Beef fajita nachos are the best in Houston and my go-to favorite. Wait staff are very attentive.

The food was delicious overall. However, I felt that the fajitas were cut a bit too small, which made them feel more like ground beef. Aside from that, everything was very good. I will definitely return!

Stopped here july 23 and everything was the best...This time we returned to houston and our mexican standout and the food is still great and full of value but the margaritas you can keep. Much smaller and less alcohol...drank 2 cause the waitress brings us a 3rd that we never ordered (putting the bill in the stratusphere) but no buzz....costs are so out of wack....ONE STAR ON DRINKS.....
