Contribuiți la feedbackI found this place on happy cow. the writer was very kind and made me change my order after she had announced it. my order was completed in less than 10 minutes. the food was delicious!
I eat here quite often, and I always find that eating well. I had only a slight inconvenience with the service, and it was quickly fixed. there is a separate vegetarian menu with a good selection. I have never asked about vegan options, so I cannot comment on it. my favorites are the tofu pumpkin curry, which is seasonal, and the erdnussnudeln. they also have good midday specialties with cheap noodle plates.
I dived at khun kay and ordered twice when there was a problem. the problems are not so much with the food that is sufficient, but not exceptional, but more with the service. the employees do not seem very familiar with which items are on their menu or are not vegan. both paintings that I have dined in me were told in the register that an element on the menu vegan was just to have it delivered with fish or egg in/on it. as well, the employees in the registers are not very friendly or patient and have become short and crisp with me and my asking. I understand that the bombing with asking is frustrating, but the treatment of a customer rude is not the best answer. the first time I made my order out was wrong and the second time that they left me for over 45 minutes! After my food was finally made, I was not offered a refund or a compensation for the mistake that was frustrating. I will probably come back to khun kay because it is close and fast, but there are definitiw other seats I would rather be.
There are plenty of good options here, but the vegetarian versus vegan options are poorly labeled on their menu and the people working here do not seem well versed in knowing what items have dairy in them. For example, apparently all but one of their curries are made using cow milk/dairy. There was a bit of confusion when I initially asked about this, since most of the other curries are listed on the menu as having coconut milk. After clarifying with the manager, I was told all but the panang curry have both coconut milk AND COW MILK in them. This is nowhere labeled on the menu, so be careful if you're vegan, and ask twice about the items you order (and also urge them to better label their vegan menu items to avoid confusion).
Nice Thai resto with lots of vegan option to appeal to many tastes. Can specify the heat of the dishes, so it can be as little or as much heat as you like. The mock duck was fun to try. I like that everything was fresh and filled with vegetables. The coconut sticky rice with mango (and coconut ice cream) was delicious, too.
