The restaurant has a charming, small country store ambiance that creates a cozy atmosphere. It feels like enjoying BBQ in your own family's kitchen. The flavors are delightful overall. I highly recommend trying the Boudin sausage—it’s truly addictive. If you're in the mood for something adventurous, the smoked chicken paired with sweet potato and kale is a must-try; the combination of flavors is simply magical. The service is exceptional, making you feel well looked after and comfortable throughout your visit.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The barbecue was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the ribs—they were incredibly delicious! The cream corn was also fantastic. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

This is a great place that really takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the 610 loop once you step inside. They've done a fantastic job of creating a cozy, local hangout vibe in what could easily be just a convenience store BBQ. I had the brisket plate for lunch, and I definitely recommend the brisket—it was excellent! The mac and cheese was also delicious. However, I found the green beans a bit lacking compared to the other dishes, but that could just be my personal taste.

Aug 3: Awesome store with unique local and Texas products. Serious BBQ place. Brisket is cut thick, and is juicy with a just right seasoned bark. Ribs are not fall off the bone but very tender. Found the seasoning a bit more salty than I prefer. Pulled pork was moist and lightly seasoned. Cajun spicy Boudin sausage was just ok neither Cajun nor spicy ?.

It’s OK but service was slow and although good, it was forgetable and expensive. Interesting place, alright for a lunch stop, average at best.
