Grinders Coffee - Houston

Stopped in for a beverage and a brownie. Golden goat was a tasty treat with oat milk. The brownie was melty and chocolatey after being warmed. I actually wanted a savory item but was happy with the brownie. Seating is limited but got a nice seat on a bench. The weather kept me from an outside option. Service was good and helpful when they were behind the counter.

My wife and I love to come here every weekend for our coffee and croissant fix. The staff is always very kind and attentive. They make sure you know which coffees have CBD, so that you don’t accidentally order something with it. The bakery that provides their food is delicious!

The entirely unfriendly person taking my order spoke so softly I had trouble hearing her. After ordering my coffee I sat down at a table not far away and was reading awhile and finally wondered where the coffee was. I looked over and saw that it was sitting on the counter while the unfriendly person talked with another customer. When I got it I asked if she had said anything when it was ready and she said she did twice. It was obvious I never heard her, but she was content to let the coffee sit there and get cold rather than walk the ten feet or so to my table or take the great trouble of speaking up a bit. The main thing is the utter lack of regard for fellow humans that is apparent. She clearly couldn't care less. I won't be back.

I asked to mix white chocolate and raspberry for my latte and it was DELICIOUS. I actually had to leave with a second one.Most of the time, when I go to other coffee shops I feel the flavor might be overpowered by roasted/burnt coffee flavor or it's too milky. Despite the fact that I love my lattes sweet I think this one was perfect combining the flavor making it sweet enough but not sugar tasting and perfect coffee taste.Totally recommend.The parking is a bit tricky. However, once inside, my friend and I sat on a couch and were really comfortable chatting and enjoying our coffee.The croissant wasn't the best one I have had, but I would still recommend giving it a try. It is definitely different than what I'm used to.
