Gatsby's - Houston

Dinner was absolutely divine! Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. We ordered the Delmonico steak and the New York strip, both of which were cooked to perfection. We also sampled the cream corn bread (which was delightful and topped with cotton candy), as well as the creamy spinach and mac and cheese. The cocktails were, of course, amazing, but the highlight of the evening for me was the petite oysters—thin yet bursting with flavor!

Sunday night! because we miss our regular Friday night. from greeting to departure everything was amazing!

The experience was fantastic. The dish was one of the best I've ever had. The hot plates added a nice touch, and the service was very accommodating. However, the small area next to the bar needs some improvement. That's where we were seated initially, and it left a lot to be desired. The low ceiling, black curtains covering all the walls and windows, and lack of décor—except for a few chandeliers—made it feel like a plain space just added for overflow. It wasn't what I expected for a fine dining experience, especially since we were celebrating a special occasion. Fortunately, I asked to be moved to the main dining area, which was beautifully decorated with stunning red accents. I hadn’t realized how much ambiance played a role in enhancing my experience.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and was truly disappointed. The service was the only thing that was decent. The cocktails tastes like perfume. The maple glazed bacon was over cooked. The lobster Mac and cheese was DISGUSTING! Spent a lot of money for a dinner I wasn’t pleased with AT ALL. That being said the steak was good and the cream corn was great. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely won’t be going back.

Amazing all around service from the entrance… food quality and freshness was too notch… the wait staff was phenomenal…. Will definitely be back
