I've been to Eloise Nichols before but will probably not return. I was disappointed that they removed oysters from the menu, especially since they are still on the online menu. I ordered an omelet and the cheese was missing. When I told the waiter, he brought me a cup of cold cheese which didn't melt when added to the omelet, would have appreciated a remake or discount. Also I made the reservation and noted that it was my birthday but it was not acknowledged by our server or host. Our server in general had a standoffish disposition. Their smoked salmon is dry and flaky and most of the dishes had something off. While it is a cute place it's not worth a return visit.

Really nice spot. Convenient location near Galleria but not in high traffic area. Menu has something for everyone. Excellent cocktails menu. Service was attentive. I asked about a soup and the waiter brought me a bit to sample. Highly recommend.
