El Pollo Loco - Houston

Food price is high for what you get. Doesn’t seem to be homemade. They charged me for a dressing.

I come here often as the food is fantastic but Today [12/19/23]I went thru the drive thru and the girl on speaker was do so rude I stopped my order mid sentence and drove off . There was a car waiting at the window so I wasn't able to leave but soon as they pulled off so did I. I'd rather wait and spend My money with courteous people than whoever they now have on drive thru.

I hadn't been to an El Pollo Loco in several years and was hoping they still had a Shrimp Avocado Burrito that I used to get... When I asked the gentleman at the counter, he literally could not understand me saying the word Shrimp, lol and had no idea, so I settled for the Chicken Avocado Burrito meal instead...It came with a drink and chips. Lots of delicious condiments, including Cilantro, Pico de Gallo and a nice Avocado dip which were added to my Burrito and Chips. My partner ate a Quesadilla which she didn't finish, so I took care of that as well. Overall, great food, unlimited drink refills and a happy belly.

This is my go-to for fast food. Oh so good, and they are always so kind at the window.

This is a little neighborhood gem. The food is delicious, the service excellent, and the staff is professional and very friendly.
