El Mango Loko Refresqueria - Houston

Everything was wonderful! Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey, but when my order arrived, I was amazed by the generous portions of fruit. I will definitely return, and it will be soon!

I had my disappointment with the tamarind I got a big ball of ice and what looks like two spoons of flavor .. the natural drinks can't complain there those were

Went there for a Mangonada and Fresas con Crema. They were okay. Nothing special. Have had better elsewhere.

This is my favorite refreshment spot! I've been coming here for years, even when they only had the window service. Now they have a seating area next door, which is a nice addition. The food has always been delicious, and the fruit is consistently fresh, with reasonable prices. They offer a variety of shakes and shaved ice, but my favorites are the biónico and fresas con crema. Their pupusas are definitely made by Mexicans, as you can tell from the salsa verde, and they're absolutely delicious. The salsa is fantastic, too. The service is always fast and friendly, and I've seen the same staff working for years. They even have games on the tables now, making it a cute family-friendly place. My only complaint is that it can get extremely cold inside sometimes!

The place itself is well kept and excellent for a hang out with friends. Mexican lotería cards are located on the tables. Topochico Preparado needed more lemon and some Clamato would be nice. It would add more flavor to it. Nachos were average but filling.
