The process to get my food after they gave it to someone else took a long time to resolve. When I finally recieved my order, it was missing my suya. Also did not receive any plantains one of my orders said it comes with that I selected. Extra stars for how delicious the tomato stew and jollof was, they are great at seasoning, but the oxtail was VERY tough, and would not come off the bone without tearing very hard at it.

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and served hot. The customer service was outstanding, the best I've encountered at an African restaurant. As for kid-friendliness, the staff were very polite and attentive to my children’s needs.

I decided to visit this restaurant for the first time after hearing that their grilled fish was excellent. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I ordered grilled tilapia, and it didn’t taste fresh at all; it seemed like the fish was over a day old. I ended up having to leave it uneaten. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. However, there is another restaurant located at Bissonnet and Dairy Ashford that I think is worth mentioning, but I won’t name it so that it doesn’t come across as advertising.

I've been visiting this place for a while for the suya, but during my recent visits, I've found the quality to be average, and the packaging keeps getting smaller. If you're looking for great suya, I recommend checking out 9ja Suya Spot on Highway 6 near Bissonnet in the Exxon parking lot. They offer better quality and provide a large box for $20 that easily feeds four people. Chez Michelle just doesn't measure up.

The best grilled fish in the area! I highly recommend trying it!
