Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a subpar meal. I ordered a two piece meat combo brisket and ribs with spicy barbecue sauce. My two sides being macaroni cheese and yams.Starting with the sides the macaroni and cheese was bland, no flavor running and had a off clear color to it. The yams were unseasoned basic mushy and also no flavor.I figured since the sides were bad maybe they focus more attention on the meat however I again was met with disappointment. For starters the brisket was extremely firm and chewy, resembles processed dog food. The barbecue sauce had absolutely no spice. Granted I am not a big spicy eater however I figured I would give more of what this place had to offer. Trash the sauce is was and will always be if they don't change it.As far as the ribs they were also hard and chewy. The ribs were definitely not cooked the same day I ordered them. I could not finish the entire meal. To make matters worse I found plastic bits in the ribs as shown in the picture. The food was literally hot trash. I would not even take this meal home to a dog to eat. This company does not live up to the brown sugar barbecue name, the name sounds like authentic genuine food BBQ food but it's cafeteria barbecue at best. The customer service is decent I found the clerk at the register to be accommodating and friendly. This is a one star review however the customer service gives it the additional star.
I thought after 13 years it would've been better but no. I didn't even know they touch the food with their bare hands. I was disappointedFood: 1/5
For me, this place missed every mark. Ordering the food was similar to going through a cafeteria line, including the scowling lady at the cash register, at the end of the line. Yes, she wasn 't hospitable and friendly looking. She just told me my total, waited for my payment, and I just sought out a table in the sea of all of the open tables. I wonder when the lunch rush starts?I ordered a two meat plate, with sausage and lean brisket. I opted for the spicy BBQ sauce and was anxious to see what that was like. Green beans plus beans and rice rounded out the meal.First off, the serving size of the meal seemed to be limited to the size of the small, Styrofoam plates that look as if they came from the local grocery store. Next, the food was not tasty, at all. The BBQ sauce tasted as if someone added a couple of drops of sauce into 4 ounces of water. It was very watered down and there was not spice to it. The sausage reminded me of store bought, packaged links and the brisket was not memoarable. It was some of the worst BBQ I 've had in a long time. Most of the reviews are about the breakfast and others seems to be very nostalgic of a place that 's been around for a while. I don 't see coming back to this restraurant.
Awesome meal, I probably bit off more than I can chew because I kept ordering sides. But everything that I tasted was awesome. This was my first time experience here so everything looked good to where I kept ordering it. The peach cobbler was the cherry on top.Food: 5/5
This place was really good. We came to the Houston area to pick up someone from the airport and we decided to stop by and try this place out.Very friendly staff. Phenomenal customer service. We got our food fast, we sat down ate and as we were eating the lady came over and gave us a sample of their peach cobbler. The best peach cobbler hands down.If you’re wanting a quick bite to eat and so happen to want BBQ; check this place out. The food, atmosphere, and customer service were amazing.
