Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent pretty expensive cocktails and wonderful atmosphere. Our waiting for a table of 6 was very fast, we had a nice server and enjoyed the food. Some favorite cocktails were Intelle, Accident Counts and Train Your Grandma. There are also great weekday deals, I will come back for pasta on Tuesday! The frits were great and come with good sauce. The party Melt was delicious, but a little salty.
I love this place officially. I took myself to a brunch date and not only was I greeted with super friendly staff. The food came quickly and exceeded my expectations. Pork Steak and eggs. amazing and I got two double egg yolk (I don't even mind if it was on purpose or I was lucky that it was just my day! And the drinks! I had the long story short, small aromatic cocktail with a kick beautiful and the Sillyngapore sling absolutely delicious and refreshing. The interior and the terrace are sweet and we had perfect weather today, making it all so much better.
This immediately became one of my favorite spots in the country. I can't praise this place enough. From the bartender who has actually learned my name, and remembered it next week, to the fantastic food and killer drinks, and even the gnarly lighting and design, this place really, has it really everything and makes Houston heights just so much better. It's a must if you're in the area. Trust me.
I love this place because it consistently great food, great drinks, great service and has a dog friendly terrace. It is known that the bars on Yale St. have a heavy pour and their cocktails are always at the point, but not everywhere is dog friendly. My lavish meal here is the party Melt, a fun take on the patty melt with the crust cut off the bread, the bread grilled with mustard on the outside of the sandwich, a juicy ground beef patty with cheese, grilled onions and a sauce of ketchup and Mayo. We also cut off the hot dog sandwich with crusts the bread and hot dogs covered with grilled red onions and Dijon mustard. The hot dogs were grilled too long. The French frits were crispy and hot, but they could use a little less salt. I love my fries salty, but my wife and I brushed both salt to eat them. I got my two favorite drinks, Long Story Short - a gin-based cocktail with passion fruit and a piece of dehydrated lemon, and a Cold Fashioned - a typical old fashion, but with Piloncillo for sweet, orange peel, and served in a Tom Collins glass with ice cream. They were perfect for a sunny but breezy autumn day in Houston. I always have on the terrace or under the awning outside, so I can not sit with what it is like inside, but there is a full bar inside and tables you can sit. The bathrooms are clean with two single room levels and have a QR menu or you can use it Google. Better Luck Tomorrow is one of these Houston places that stay on your list of permanent faves.
Great cocktail mocktail program. Service is always friendly professional. Pasta night (Tuesday) gets a well deserved crowd. Menu specials by chef Michael chef Justin are sometimes quite whimsical (and delicious)
