Bb's Tex-orleans - Houston

I visited this restaurant after leaving two clubs around 3 AM, at the suggestion of a regular customer I was with. I really enjoyed my meal! I ordered the Thursday special, which included beef and grits, along with a side of greens. It's worth mentioning that all three of us had been drinking and were under the influence of marijuana, yet we all polished off our plates, as well as the appetizer, and left very satisfied! I highly recommend this place.

I'm usually a regular at the one on Westheimer, but I'm glad I decided to check out this location. The service was fantastic—Crystal was attentive and on top of everything. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious! The bathroom could use a bit more cleanliness, but overall, it’s a great spot. Haha!

Parking is quite limited. While it’s less crowded in the evenings, the restaurant can quickly fill up. The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is excellent. If you opt for the chicken tenders, you’ll receive a generous portion, as shown in the picture, though their taste is just okay. They are served with stringy fries. The restrooms may not always be clean, so be aware that they might be a bit dirty. This location is better suited for takeout due to the parking situation.

My dish was excellent, but the greens were so salty that I could not eat them. Also it was way too hot inside to enjoy my meal.

I went yesterday. I was greeted by a young woman behind the counter that was eating a bowl of gumbo while she took my togo order. While waiting for my food, I noticed she went to refill someone 's drink. But they don 't have the typical ice dispenser. It 's old school, out of a bucket and they use a large cup to scoop the ice. No clean hands, no gloves, nothing. GROSS! I got home and opened my to go order, I noticed the large gumbo I paid for was barely enough to fill a literal cup. Upon reheating my shrimp today I noticed one of the two potatoes I paid for was rotten. I 'm going to go ahead and assume I caught them on a bad day.
