America Cafe Bakery - Houston

This is the best cake I've found from a local business. They really listen to what you want and deliver exceptional quality! We will definitely continue ordering our cakes from them. This photo shows just one of the many cakes we've ordered.

What you see on the picks is not what you will find. With all fairness I did get there about 11:30a so....there was very little there. But what was there was fresh and nice. It is not an Arandas bakery. And there's a new closing time so call before you go.

I’ve been waiting outside since 7:10 for the restaurant to open at 7:00, and it’s disappointing. Early birds want their pan dulce too!

I frequently pass by this place, and I absolutely love their bread. Its flavor is unique and truly authentic. The selection mainly features Mexican and Guatemalan breads, and they are all delicious. They even accept special orders if you're looking for a specific type of bread for an occasion. The last time I ordered ciabatta rolls, and they were fantastic. I've also seen some beautiful cakes come out of there for quinceañeras and weddings. I'm definitely planning to buy a cake there for my next celebration.
