Aguirre's Tex-mex - Houston

Update: We decided to try the restaurant again. This time, my husband ordered something as well, but unfortunately the quality was not up to par with our previous experiences. My shrimp tacos were overly drenched in butter and my husband found the tacos al carbon to be lacking compared to what we had before.

This restaurant serves the best Mexican food in the area! The vegetarian choices are outstanding and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend it!

After 6 years, we have still not had a bad meal at this restaurant. We ordered delivery through Door Dash, and the order arrived correct, warm, delicious, and quickly. The food was amazing. They will soon be relocating to 529/Hwy 6. They were thoughtful enough to include both fresh and pickled Jalapenos in the order. What a great idea! The food is very tasty with plenty of options for vegetarians as well as some delectable meat dishes for non-vegetarians. I highly recommend trying the steak tampiquena, it is truly a delight. I have yet to sample the seafood dishes, but since we visit frequently, it is on my list to try soon. The service is good and they even have outdoor seating available.

It was good first time there, I ordered the three chicken taco platter they are huge big servings! My only complaint is that some of the ingredients have preservatives I get allergy to them I think it was the cheese but not sure which ingredient it was

It's a good place to relax and eat, they need a hotter sauce for the chips but I enjoyed the seafood enchiladas
