The Rose - HOUNSLOW

Ordered online as website said they where open, paid for order received confirmation email stating delivery time. Nothing showed up, tried phoning no answer had to go to the shop to find it was closed up. now I have to try and get my money back avoid this place.

Have always had a great meal from here but tonight was a joke.... Food arrived 30 minutes late, Luke warm delivered by an uber eats driver. I ordered directly from the restaurant so don 't know why it came uber eats. Food had been stuffed into one of those bike bags the bag was full of oil and sauce where the containers were squashed, popadoms were all broken and there was a bread missing that had been paid for. Called the restaurant, original guy was useless said manager would call, he did but WOW so rude kept talking over me, saying what do you want me to do disgusting! Order should have been refunded by at least half, the food I received was a disgrace. His excuse was its busy on a Saturday????? The lateness on its own I 'd have no problem with but on top of everything else it was not acceptable. The manager said if I gave it back to the driver I would have got a full refund. I 'm sorry, I didnt take the driver that was 30 mins late into my kitchen to wait while I inspected my food compete waste of £45. Disgrace!!!

Ordered food through just eat. Forty minutes later no sign of food. Rang the restaurant 3 times only to be told it is only 10 minutes away. Food arrived 2 hours later with one of the dish had all spilled into the carrier bag, The driver apologised and wanted me to take the food. I refused and had to get a refund. Poor service all round and not even an apology from the manager. Will not order again

I have used the Rose on a few occasions each and every time the delivery was late. The final straw was today delivery late again and the quality of food was disgraceful. Butter chicken should be rich and creamy what I received was thin and watery. The Naans were quite rubbery and poppadums overdone and burnt. I can only assume the chef is either over worked and has no time time to serve good food or simply does not care about the standard or quality he/she sends out of the kitchen.

Not ordered from here for a while however still lovely and great quality! Recommend the meal for two as very good value! Tried the lamb bhuna for the first time which was very nice however at one point I thought I was going to take off and it went through my son like a two man Bob sleigh!
