Do not ever go here. The place is very bad with a bad taste. Everything is overpriced. The food smelled bad and was not cooked properly.
We recently returned from a holiday and stayed at a nearby hotel before our early morning flight. While spending the weekend in London, we decided to visit Priya's for the third time. During our previous visit post-pandemic, we were a bit disappointed to find that the interior had changed and there were no tables available for dining in. However, on this visit, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the interior had changed again and there were now tables available for sitting and enjoying our meal. We purchased some delicious snacks for breakfast in the morning and returned in the evening for dinner, which was excellent. Priya's is not a fancy dining establishment, but rather a shop that serves the local community with outstanding Indian cuisine and provides a few tables for customers to eat in. The food was much better than what our budget hotel offered and was definitely worth the short 2-3 minute walk.
The 20-minute drive was definitely worth it for this restaurant. The food was excellent. The lamb masala had a spicy kick and the butter chicken had a silky, creamy sauce. Both dishes had tender meat. My wife enjoyed the chili paneer roll, and the paneer samosas had a crispy pastry with a generous filling. The naans were fresh and soft. The owner/chef took the time to make our curries, and we highly recommend this place. We can't wait to try other items on the menu.
Outstanding!!! If you want traditional Punjabi Indian food without the pomp fuss a frills this is as close to home cooked food as is possible Every dish without exception is outstanding! Don’t miss out on the tandoori roti and the samosas are unreal
