Essofra - Houmt Souk

A very nice restaurant that serves traditional regional food from Djerba. The service is excellent and friendly. Prices are also reasonable, and you get what you pay for. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the island's traditional cuisine.

Five stars to food, service and atmosphere. But don’t go too late into the service as some options seems to become unavailable early.

The best restaurant in Djerba, no doubt about it. Tasty traditional food, super welcoming staff and beautiful environment. Some dishes need to be ordered one day in advance, so make sure to have a look at the menu and make a call before you book!

Traditional Tunisian food. Environment is unique. The service was so good...the waiter explained to us the different specialities and give us advices when asked. Brought us also a taster of different food that we did not end up choosing just to try! Had the best Harissa of the holiday. Definitely to try when in Djerba!

I would like to give 6 stars! The weiter was sooo friendly, funny and helpful. The food was so delicious especially the traditional ones, love it
