Moe's Southwest Grill - Houma

The vegan options at this restaurant are very limited. Moe's is not as flavorful as Chipotle, but the dining style is similar. It is a conscious eatery in Houma, Louisiana, so I want to show my support. I was happy to see tofu on the menu, even though the seasoning was a bit bland. The atmosphere is friendly and clean, and the menu has something for everyone with burritos, tacos, or bowls. If you're a hungry vegan in the Houma/Thibodaux area, you'll be satisfied eating here.

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and the food was amazing. I ordered the steak and potato burrito, as well as a hard taco. I personally enjoy spicy food, but the taco sauce was very hot and may be too much for some people. I recommend skipping the taco sauce if you don't like a lot of heat. The toppings were served on the side and everything was fresh and delicious. Both the adobo sauce and steak were really tasty. My only issue was with the prices - $10 for a burrito felt a bit high, but it was large and tasty. Overall, I will definitely be returning.

I have her tofu because I love chipotles sofritas. I was impressed that it was boiled to order (I understand that tofu can not be a popular choice), but it was easy, flareed, and soft. if they prefer solid tofu that skip like ground meat these. the Veggie options are delicious without.

Would recommend going to a dine in place, as eating here will cost the same or more and is not all that good. Pricing aside I found that the food was mediocre anyways and would only recommend if you wanted some different and have tried the most or all the other places in the area. The staff assembling the meals seemed friendly however the staffer running the register was far from friendly and was either having one hell of a bad day or truly dislikes his place of employment.
