Caro's Cakes Catering Inc - Houma

This is the moistest cake I've ever had, made entirely from scratch. I love the cake and icing, which remind me of traditional wedding cakes. Their lemon and pecan tarts are equally delicious!

This was the best cake I've ever had! I won't be able to settle for any other cake for my birthday.

I just don't get the excitement surrounding this place. The cakes are consistently dry and have an artificial taste, often featuring an unpleasant flavor from artificial almond or vanilla extracts. Can nobody notice that? Is it really that difficult to spray the cakes with a simple syrup to reduce the dryness? I recommend steering clear of this place. Even Mega-mart has better cakes, and theirs might have been frozen beforehand.

Our meeting with Melanie was warm and uplifting. We requested a custom cake design that was simple yet featured some intricate details, and we were not let down. Our wedding guests were in awe of the cake's artistic design and precise presentation, and the color matching was flawless! Then there was the taste: the frosting was creamy, the fillings bursting with flavor (lemon and coconut), and the cake itself was light, fresh, and delicious. There was hardly any cleanup required after the reception, as everyone wanted to take a slice of cake home with them.
