Houlton Big Stop

Food is delicious! Friendly people at the restaurant in the store. It always seems to find a place to park for the night 18 cyclists. Near the border to Canada. Onion rings and scallops the best!

Honestly my favorite gas station to stop at. They have so many things and a restaurant as well. If you like poutine def try the fully loaded one.

Stopped here after a delivery, nearby. Their showers are very nice. I don't know if it was an oversight, or not, but there was no wash cloth with the towels and it does take time for the water to heat up, but it was very nice and the folks working there were welcoming and working hard to meet the demands of their customers. The store is on the small side, but meets the basic needs and there is a restaurant that several said had great homestyle cooking. Overall, it was a really nice experience, here.

Placed my order on-line at 1:30 pm for a 5:00pm pick-up. My 2 person meal was ready when I arrived. Friendly greeting upon arrival. Food was packed well and tasted quite good. Wished they would offer more of a selection of desserts from their take-out menu though! Will definitely use Houston's Big Stop again for take out!!
