Red Oak Fillin' Station - Hot Springs

We started with the Brisket Tacos as an appetizer, and we loved that they included salad in addition to just meat and onions. They served three generous tacos. For our main courses, we ordered the smoked meat sample plate and three pieces of Welsh flour. The ribs were fabulous, and the brisket was also amazing. They had three barbecue sauces on the table, but we only needed a little, as the meat itself was delicately flavorful and smoky. The fried catfish was delicious, served hot and lightly breaded. While many of the sides were just good or slightly above average, the Brisket Mac and Cheese is a must-try. The fried okra was also tasty, but the green beans and coleslaw were only average. The portion sizes were large! We ordered three plates of food and ended up with nearly a whole dish to take home after we ate as much as we could. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and we never felt like we were missing anything.

I had a lovely experience with the service here; my waiter was attentive and always kept my cup full. The steak was good at 8/10, while the blackened wels was exceptional at 10/10. Unfortunately, the hush puppies were soggy. The macaroni was fantastic, receiving a 10/10, as well as the burger, which also scored a 10/10. The bacon fries appetizer was another highlight, earning a 10/10 as well.

"The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Bass Pro Shop or Cracker Barrel. The fried pickles are fantastic, and I highly recommend them. Thursday is the best day to go for the All You Can Eat shrimp, which can be enjoyed in three styles: grilled, fried, or boiled. All options are delicious. It's a wonderful place run by some truly amazing people!"

The food here is absolutely amazing. Loves the hometown of this place. Service was good and a friendly staff.

This is a cute spot outside the hustle and bustle of the main town. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS. Best fried okra I've ever had, and I've tried it everywhere. Would definitely be back again next time we visit.
