We celebrated my daughter's wedding there! Everything was fine! Excellent food, starter, main course and dessert great! We can highly recommend the Landhaus Horstmühle! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately very disappointing, although the location and map were so promising. We were there with a small event that was discussed and planned with the restaurant management about half a year in advance. To list just a few of the points: The buffet was mostly cold and dry, as some dishes had already been kept warm for several hours while we waited for the rest of the items. The buffet was never complete because there were not enough warming containers available. The sauces were served in cold glass carafes, after a very short time they were cold and viscous. Signage for the buffet is considered a special service that must be explicitly ordered in advance; when asked, the service staff could not name all the dishes themselves. The buffet was very carelessly arranged, 2 bare tables with warming containers and not enough ladles and plates. The tables were so narrow that you basically hit the backrest of the person behind you. The soup was probably stretched, as bland and watery as it tasted. A few months ago it was still creamy and delicious. But the worst thing was the service from a special lady, I have never experienced such cheeky and impudent answers to questions!!! ...you want everything freshly cooked, freshness just takes time... (after almost 3 hours of waiting for the buffet, we were registered at 12.30 p.m., after 3 p.m. the buffet was complete .... and you come in here with your extra wishes. (when asked whether the signs for the buffet are still following, every snack bar signs its food, for us it was an outrageous request ...You have nothing to say here. (when asked to stick to German when talking to us and not speak Turkish I 'm really sorry for you (in response to the statement that it wasn 't tasty. One had the impression that no one was fully informed about our event and no one was interested. After the buffet was released, the service staff no longer accepted any requests for drinks; we had the impression that we were being disturbed and we clearly felt this. Unfortunately, the restaurant management couldn 't be spoken to until a few days later, but apologized for the mistakes and came to us with a voucher. Unfortunately, despite the courtesy, this was a very expensive and disappointing experience for us.
