Iron Abbey Gastro Pub The Loft

Our waitress walked by us at least ten times but never acknowledged us after delivering our plates. She didn’t ask if we needed anything or offer to refill our drinks. We were seated at a two-top table near the kitchen entrance, so it’s not like she didn’t see us. Only after we gave up and placed our napkins on our plates did she finally stop to check if we wanted anything else. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and there were plenty of staff, which made the poor service even more frustrating. Overall, it was just disappointing food and service.

We visited the Iron Abbey to celebrate a birthday, and our experience was delightful. The hostess greeted us warmly, and our waiter promptly attended to us despite the busy crowd. The charcuterie platter was fresh and flavorful, and we especially enjoyed the pistachio butter that accompanied the meats and cheeses. Following the waiter’s recommendation, I ordered the pork chop, and I’m so glad I did—it was cooked to perfection and generous enough for leftovers. The Iron Abbey is a great choice for dinner or just for drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service consistently meets high standards.

Iron Abbey is an excellent spot for casual dining, offering an impressive variety of craft beers from around the globe. We often stop by for Happy Hour on Fridays, where the food and drinks are available at discounted prices. The pub atmosphere is vibrant and enjoyable. Every server we've encountered has been outstanding—friendly, efficient, and well-informed about the different beer options. Additionally, there's a takeout area upstairs featuring hundreds of beer selections. We had a delicious dinner and drinks during Happy Hour for roughly $60, which is a fantastic deal. There's really nothing not to love about this place!

Pork chop was unparalleled perfection! Checked and gnocchi (aka dumplings) was ethereal. Yum! Service was prompt and friendly but not intrusive. Beer selection excellent. Sit inside, noisy by the highway upstairs.

The bartenders and wait staff were very attentive and did a great job, Unfortunately, I was sick all last night going to the bathroom every 10 min. Skip the burgers, pulled pork and Shepards pie. We also had a number of apps that were marginal. Do not sit upstairs because there was no heat last night
