Cafe Lombardi's - Horsham

Went for dinner with my spouse. We both had great meals . I had the Veal Cacciatore, she had a house salad and Spaghetti alla Verdure. Both were delivered quickly and streaming hot.

Food was dry and overdone. Service terrible. Appetizer and entree came at same time and felt rushed by waitress throughout the meal. It used to be sooo good.

Food was great, especially for the price.Now let's talk about the service. I have literally never had such a rude server, not at any price point in any location. We were ignored, barked at, and had bread just about thrown at us (I know, you think I'm exaggerating, but the waitress backhand tossed it onto the table so that it landed hanging off the table an inch from my GF).That being said, we plan to return and hope we get a different server.

Had a 7:00pm reservation and they already ran out of bread and angel hair pasta. How does an Italian restaurant run out out of bread and angel hair pasta. I ordered the veal and crabmeat dinner special and the veal was leather tough and the slivers of crabmeat were almost non existent. My wife’s scallops were undercooked but the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Our server was not very personable and never came back to check if our food was properly prepared. This was our go to spot for great Italian food, but lately it’s been very disappointing. Probably won’t be back.

A piece of Italy in Horsham. Excellent food and service. Everything on the menu is delicious and made with care. A family atmosphere with warm and friendly folks. Love this place.
