The Diner - Horseheads

This is one of those points that when used to chains they will see outward (old school worn train cars) and his insecure don’t be. push the old train car door and go in and have a great experience. super attentive staff and great americana eating with breakfast and lunch all day. the chickens and cookies are bombed and the pancakes are massive.

Amazing food, wonderful atomosphere. We ordered takeout so I cannot comment on the waitstaff. We especially love the train car design. You can tell this place is historical when you pull up. Onto the food: the omlettes are so huge you could split them between two my spouse and I tried the Big Papi omlette (if I recall correctly) and got a side of hashbrowns and toast. Loved it the whole way. We also ordered buiscuits and gravy. Everything was tasty, not greasy or overly oily, and the mushrooms/spinach is fresh. The gravy must be homemade because it wasn't overly salty at all. Will definitely be coming back!

Delicious food with that small town feel! Definitely a must if you want to live like a local.
