Hot Stacks Cafe - Myrtle Beach

We are on vacation, staying at a resort 3 mins away from this restaurant. We saw the decent rating and liked the menu, only to experienced such a horrible service and extremely demoralized staff. 1) First, we were “greeted” with zero eye contact and zero smile by the host. 2) Second, our server came with a “why are you here” attitude. I asked for an ice latte, she said “only ice coffee”. I then asked “you guys don’t have milk?”, in which she replied, “We do, but we can’t put milk into the machine.” I was dumbfounded- she was either on crack or was just trying to drive us away. Didn’t want to waste our time, we just asked for ice water. 3) The busser was cleaning the table next to ours, and there was a bag left behind by the customers. She obviously noticed it, but made no attempt to reach out to customers who were walking out the restaurant. She continued to take her time to clean the table, then she took the bag and strut her way to the host. There was absolutely no sense of emergency, the staff here are so demoralized. 4) The restaurant was almost empty and our server never came back to us to take our order after 15 minutes. We left and went to Toasty, which provided a much better service. Never again.

We visit everytime we're in town. Love the food and the vegan options. Thank you

Terrific menu with lots of variety, including vegetarian options. Quick service and the place was clean and nicely decorated.

Hidden gem for vegans and vegetarians at the beach!!! This is the only breakfast place in Myrtle Beach that has plant-based meat alternatives. Lots of vegan options! Great lattes :

Dimitri (I really hope I spelled it right) was our server and was a GREAT server! Very friendly vibe when you walk in the inside has a nice new makeover. We were the first ones here’s with my wife around 7-8 AM. I ordered the chicken and waffle topped with whipped cream and my wife got the southwest breakfast tacos. My chicke. And waffles were great especially with the topped whip cream and side of home fries. My Wife’s breakfast tacos Consisted of eggs mixed with sausage if I’m not mistaking and some other sides (sour cream, avocado, salsa etc). Everything was super great! The only very very small complaint would be finding a delicious sauce that would go with the egg tacos perhaps a chipotle style sauce?! The salsa that was served was eh, but easily fixable with some Texas Pete. Everything was great! Very budget friendly for the family if kids were to be included. Highly recommend!
