My son and I went to have a birthday meal at 9:50pm and were told by a rude and bold man that the restaurant was closed. We couldn't believe it as there were many people at the tables. We hadn't been drinking and had come from our home. We were absolutely devastated.
If you're looking for a delicious curry with generous portions, this is the place to go. I have been coming to this Curry House since I was a child and the food brings back nostalgic memories and reminds me of my love for curry. The Bengali chefs are highly skilled with a Tandoori Oven and serve amazing Tandoori dishes and Naans. Recently, the restaurant has adopted a Bring Your Own Booze (BYOB) policy, which is a bit of a shame as I miss having a cold Cobra on tap. But with a Tesco across the road, bringing your own tinnies is more than sufficient! Thank you to Mr. Bashir, Jules, and the rest of the team for a great dining experience.
Ordered 4 times last 2 times awful. Today didn't get all paid for stale poppadoms only 2 prawns on each king prawn puriee and also gobi was not good plain nan was stale just awful won't be ordering again ever
Slow service, poor standard of food and annoyed by the waiter asking for cash only and telling us he won’t get a tip unless we paid cash as the owner would take it. Not a pleasant experience when sitting in a large group with our children. Not a fan of restaurants where you bring your own drinks either, cheaper maybe but not the experience that I prefer with a carrier bag with drinks in under my feet..The decor is tired , the toilets had nothing to dry your hands with and most definitely will not be going back. Far better Indian restaurants in the area that I would rather give my money to
