Quattro - Hopkinton

Similar to others, we've been here a few times for dinner...maybe 4x's in the last year. Last weekend was our most recent. With very few options we made reservations and dinned again. Its the consistency of the meals and service that just isn't there. On our first time there we had the most attentive wait staff. Very communicative, pleasant, and nice....followed with some great apps, wine, and entrees. We left super satisfied and happy with our new hometowns dinning experience. After that, we've consistently seen disparities in both food and service experience. (Wait staff bringing out the wrong wine, food sometimes bland and meh, staff defensive for seemingly errors with order delivered, sometimes staff don't seem too happy. One day you go in and all of most goes well...the next time, maybe it was a full moon or something, because not all the pieces connected.. Will we go back...? Due to the limited selection..probably. Will we like it then...not sure...its a roll of the dice.

The two stars is for the service. The lack of three is for the food. Just not good at all. Nobody in our party finished their meals and none of us wanted to take it home in to go boxes. I could have made better out of a frozen bag from the grocery store (which Im not sure this wasnt). Im sad that I had to pay for it. On the extra downside there is a bar in the back room that is just chocked full of sad people just sitting there playing Keno and drinking .. not a good look for the place but if the food is not good they need revenue from somewhere. How can you mess up a beer I guess?

Food was okay....odd experience though. In this time of political divide it was a strange choice to have Newsmax on the big screen.

Worst eggplant I've ever had. I didn't eat much of it. It was all skin. What parts were not mostly skin still tasted bad and had a weird texture. I also ordered a diet coke, and they just brought out the can with a glass filled with ice. If you don't have a soda fountain for some reason, just fill the glass with the can of soda prior to bringing it to the table.

Walked in on a Saturday at 6:00pm and there wasn't a soul there, but gave it a chance since we were hungry. Could barely chew the mussels, asked for Tito's and saw them pour bottom shelf, food was blah, and staff was unprofessional
