Davo's - Hopkinsville

The service was excellent. My daughter enjoyed the chicken strips and fries, while I had the steak sandwich with fries. The steak was a bit underwhelming and could have used some seasoning, but the fries were fantastic. The highlight for me was their selection of bourbon; they had several of my favorites.

I also ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a patty melt with fries. The patty melt was decent, but I felt it could use a bit more seasoning, like salt and pepper (I don’t usually eat much salt, but it definitely needed a touch). The fries were okay but slightly overcooked. Even without salt, they were still enjoyable. I must mention that I will only use delivery service through this restaurant from now on! After my meal, I called them to share my thoughts on my order. This was my first time trying their food, and despite the issues, I plan to give them another shot.

I had lunch at the restaurant and was impressed by the excellent service. I ordered the breakfast burger and fries, which were quite good. The fried bacon appetizer was decent, but I don’t think I would order it again. However, others seemed to enjoy it, so it might just be a matter of personal preference.

The food was great, but the tea was sour. In fairness, I'm really sensitive to mold so most people wouldn't have noticed that. I got the Davo bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. I didn't care for the fries, but they were ok. The mozzarella cheese stickswere great! The staff was really friendly also!

What a great little gem! I ordered 10 wings, and they are huge—six would have been more than enough!
