El Lorito Mexican Grill (blake Rd)

We stopped here after visiting Valleyfair last night, hoping to treat everyone to some "real" food, but we were disappointed. The food was poor, the service was lacking, and the restaurant itself wasn't very clean. The salsa was watery and tasteless, and the beans and rice were stale. I've never encountered authentic chicken tacos with bell peppers before; that's typically for fajitas. The chicken was dry, shredded, and seemed like it had been cooked at least a day prior. Not only did the adults dislike their meals, but the kids didn't want to eat either. They don’t offer queso fresco, either—I was told, "We have American shredded cheese." Honestly, I could've gone to Taco Bell instead! Additionally, I won't bother wasting my energy on the customer service. Just do yourself a favor and find somewhere else for authentic Mexican food. I recommend trying Bravi’s in Shakopee or Centro Mercado at Bloomington and Lake in Minneapolis.

Upon entering, you're greeted with a warm smile, a friendly welcome, and stunning decor featuring beautifully crafted wood and vibrant art. The menu offers fantastic options—I personally went for the chicken chimichanga, and it was incredible! There's also a huge Margherita that, although I didn’t order, seemed to be a favorite among other diners while we were there. The drink selection is quite impressive as well. Thank you!

The chips tasted burnt, the salsa was very watery and lacked flavor, and the cheese had the texture of Cheez Whiz. It’s decent if you’re really hungry, I suppose.

Absolute trash. We got food for our work lunch and paid almost $70 including tip) which we were over charged because we ordered 4 12.99 meals which wouldve been $56 before tax and our total was $65 $9 in tax is not right shouldve been around $5) and the food was honestly gross it was not good quality and was soggy because the meat was so greasy and the chicken was soupy. The rice had no flavor and same with the beans. They got our order wrong which totally happens I understand that and they gave us the mess up to fix it but honestly majority of the food just went in the trash. The worst part was when i called them i didnt even ask for a refund but after i said the first part about the food being gross the manager instantly shut me down claiming my order was correct which was not even what i was saying and after i tried again to explain the situation calmly and politely he was like you cant get a refund unless you bring back all the food which obviously couldnt be done as we had eaten some and thrown the rest away. Absolutely disgusting customer service and gross food do not go here its not worth it go to taco teresas or honestly anywhere else its cheaper and 10x better food.

Manager seated us then seated 2 other groups. Took their orders before ours. Brought their food out before we got ours. My food, when we got it, was over cooked to the point some was burned.The bright spot was our waitress. She tried her best.We will NOT be going back!
