Contribuiți la feedbackI went in at around 12:00 pm today, lined up, and ordered at around 12:05. The menu was confusing as it had two prices. I thought Combo #1 was $10.99 but then there was another higher price on the menu for the actual meal. It made no sense as the price was for their combo meal. So, when I ordered, the cashier indicated the price of the meal was around $14.99. Bad menu design. If I knew the combo was actually around $15, I wouldn 't have stuck around to order. Anyway, I paid and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After 18 minutes of waiting for my order, I gave up and asked for a refund. Mind you the 18 minutes was on THEIR timer on THEIR screen. I obtained my refund and walked out. I went through a nearby drive through of a different restaurant and got my order within 5 minutes of ordering. Would I go back here? Hell no. It 's overpriced and improperly staffed. I wasted 23 minutes of my day waiting for a meal that never materialized.
Food was okay. Floors were slippery, they must have mopped dinning area with greasy mop from kitchen. I went in bathroom to wash hands before eating and was unable because a woman was coloring her hair in sink. She gave me a look like I was disturbing her in her private bathroom.
I think most people who come here is for a quick lunch or quick bite. This Dairy Queen is some what busier than the other locations. We came here because we had to charge the car and near by is a Tesla Super Chargers. I am not a big fan of Dairy Queen burger so I got the chicken strip. I got the 6 chicken strip combo. I should have gotten the 4 pieces combo. It was very filling. It came with fries and a soft drink. The soft drink is not unlimited refill. The chicken strip is a bit dry but with sauces it makes it better. You have to ask for the sauce or else they won't give it to you. When I think about Dairy Queen the first thing that comes to mind is ice cream.
1. This has to be the worst Dairy Queen in the world. Their lawn maintenance is unkept, they get Dairy Queen staff to paint the parking spot lines and they have their entrance sign from Water Street (which is a crazy busy main road) pointed so people have to turn over a double solid line. 2. I've gotten a peanut buster parfait from there and it must of been the bottom of the peanut container because my ice cream was super salty. 3. Today I got a dipped cone. Wasn't impressed to have it melting all over my hand. 4. Living right next door to the location, these moronic teenage staff ALWAYS put their garbage bags outside their back door instead of walking 10 feet to the dumpster. This is a nuisance because a) the crows pick it apart and b) the garbage blows into our parking lot. That's my review. Don't eat here!
Just had the wateriest Orange Julius ever; also, I could not be more disappointed with the cashier who took my order. I ordered a chicken strip meal with a soft drink (small), as well as several other items. Looking at my receipt as we waited for our food, I noticed I'd been charged $2.39 for a small soft drink plus $8-something for the chicken meal with no drink, instead of $9-something for the meal including a drink. The cashier (older lady with black wavy hair) gave the explanation (with a straight face, believe it or not) that the combo comes with a medium drink and I had specified a small drink so that's why she rang the items up separately. The second employee I encountered (tiny young lady with mostly bright blonde hair) was very helpful and promptly gave me a refund. But still. That's rather ridiculously bad service, in my opinion. If she had said something about it costing more for a small drink and if I'd insisted on the small drink even if it cost more, that would be something else, but that didn't happen. Also, the watery Orange Julius alone could have prompted a bad review-it tasted like nothing more than some watered down orange juice with large chunks of ice in it. So disappointed, Dairy Queen of Hope BC. So disappointed.
