Drift Lakeside Kitchen And - Hope

I made reservations through OpenTable and received a confirmation via SMS the day before. My wife, our 80-year-old mother, and I drove 1.5 hours to Hope, ID, to use a $150 gift certificate I won in a Veterans Day raffle. However, when we arrived, there was a sign on the door stating that the restaurant was closed for the winter, though they had not deactivated their OpenTable account. We decided to head to Clark Fork instead, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Cabinet Mountain Bar Grill.

Excellent food, great service and live music too! Great experience and good value.

We really enjoy this local spot. It's disappointing that the butternut squash risotto has been unavailable for the past two nights. The live music was a wonderful addition to the atmosphere. We had a great time with friends and our waitress was excellent! We'll definitely be returning.
