Big Jake's Bbq - Hope

We drove from North Carolina to Texas and spontaneously stopped at the Hope, Arkansas exit. We decided to try the BBQ at Jake's and we were not disappointed! The staff was polite, cheerful, and professional. The food was delicious and the restaurant and restroom were very clean. We will definitely stop here again when we pass through!

I ordered a brisket sandwich, coleslaw, and potato salad at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the brisket tasted like processed meat with no smoky or BBQ flavor. The coleslaw was average, with the server unable to tell me if it was made with vinegar or mayo. The potato salad was also nothing special, similar to the coleslaw. While the portions were on the larger side for a small town, there was nothing unique or exceptional about the dishes compared to other places. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.

The prices for the baked potatoes are very confusing. The bacon they put on it was cold and uncooked. The staff was friendly.

That is an amazing place to drill free pinto that are amazing to any meal. I had the ribs and bbq. it was excellent. the service was fast and they were very nice. they are proud of this restaurant. Do not miss this if they ever in hope, arkansas.

Large menu on the wall was a little hard to navigate at first. Place your order at the counter and they bring it out to you. It was prepared quickly and was hot when it arrived. Very good taste to the meat and a good BBQ sauce. Well worth the stop.
