Contribuiți la feedbackWith a new WaWa under construction in Melbourne, Florida, not too far from my home, I decided to explore this popular convenience store chain. I had heard a lot of positive things about WaWa and was eager to experience it for myself. This would be my first visit to a WaWa restaurant. Since there are several locations in Orlando, I planned to stop by one on my next trip to the city. Yesterday, we found ourselves at the Orlando Regional Medical Center and made our way to WaWa on Holden Heights, South Orange, just a quick five-minute drive away. We were pleased to find parking on their premises. Despite it being around 2:00 PM, the place was bustling with customers. I was impressed by the freshness and variety of food displayed, as well as the cleanliness of the area. There was an extensive selection of sodas, including caffeine-free options, as well as lemonade. On the other side, I found a variety of drinks like smoothies, frozen cappuccinos, lattes, hot chocolate, milkshakes, and coffee. I quickly browsed the menu and settled on the Chicken Quesadilla for $4.49, while my husband opted for a meatball sandwich. We placed our orders using an easy-to-navigate touchscreen, and everything went smoothly. I selected two types of cheese, along with avocado and sour cream for an additional $0.25. My husband skipped the extra cheese but asked for his sandwich to be toasted. After placing our orders, we moved to the Pickup Counter, where two young men informed us we could pay for our meals at the register to save time. We decided to wait since only a few people were ahead of us. Within minutes, our food was ready. I was surprised to see bottles of wine priced at $11.99 near the register. My first disappointment came when we realized we had to eat outside. Given that it was a hot summer day in Orlando, with temperatures in the low 90s, this was unexpected. We chose one of the empty tables and started our meal. While my Chicken Quesadilla was a bit soft for my liking, it was flavorful, especially with the rich sour cream I added. It was cut into pieces but still somewhat messy to eat. My husband enjoyed his meatball sandwich with melted cheese, though he wished the meatballs were firmer. Overall, we were pleased with the flavors of our meals and felt satisfied afterward. The lunch menu at WaWa is surprisingly diverse, featuring various hoagies, sandwiches, three types of quesadillas, several paninis, deep-dish focaccia pizza, chicken strips, soups, sides, and bowls. There were also pre-made options like fresh fruit, salads, wraps, and even bagel melts available at the register. Some salad choices included Chicken Caesar, Turkey BLT, Chef, Garden, and Thai-style Chicken Mango, priced between $4.49 and $4.99. The Chocolate Chip Cookies at $0.99 and Stuffed Pretzels at $1.69 looked quite tempting. WaWa is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it a convenient stop for various meals. And don’t forget to grab some gas for your car at a good price while you're there!
Wawa is ubiquitous, offering you the option to make healthy or unhealthy choices—it's entirely up to you. I enjoy Wawa; the atmosphere is quite clean.
We stopped here for gas before leaving Florida. The bathroom could have been cleaner. However, the store offered a great selection of snacks and drinks. The staff was very friendly.
Very good in stock, the team members are always very nice and happy to have just one conversation. It's a very welcoming place. Food is made quickly when you order from there. Overall, I come here a lot and I am never weakened with the service
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food and coffee are great.
