Unfortunately, the seafood did not taste fresh. The grilled fish was rubbery, and the scallops had an off flavor that reminded me of an old refrigerator. It seems like the seafood hadn't been stored properly, possibly due to a drop in temperature that prevented it from being kept fresh. Last year, the seafood was much better.

The service was excellent; our water glasses were promptly refilled, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The seafood chowder was very delicious, but unfortunately, the fish and chips were overcooked and dry. My son ordered the shrimp and chips, which were also tough and dry.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a casual dinner featuring local cuisine. Our server, Kat, was very friendly and attentive. We started with the Onkel's Tower appetizer, which included fresh fish and poke, and it was delightful. The presentation of all the entrees was beautiful, and the fish was incredibly fresh, with several options for the catch of the day. Our total for three people, including the appetizer, came to $120.

We asked for something broth while we drank. she told us we could buy a garlic bread or three pieces. it was strange, my friend really wanted a pupu, but there is nothing if someone doesn't eat poke/calamari. we have with the purchase of chips and an order of salsa that had celantra I don't like. the fish was a bit dry. I was so disappointed with $140!

The seafood appetizers were very good. The NY steak was dry and not very well seasoned with anything flavorful. The lobster tail was also pretty small. I guess I expected more for a $62 dinner.
