So of course no problem I decided to give them a call 5:30pm once they open .Talked to a lady over the phone who I had a hard time to understand with her heavy Japanese accent . She advised me that there was no take out available only dine in . I than replied how come she said that they don't have any take out containers available. Ok now what establishment don't t have take out containers. I understand that maybe they ran out or waiting for the back order to come in , but that's no excuses when running a business you should always order way before your stock runs out just in case you have a hard time getting containers. Tenkaippin just lost my business that night also other take out orders as well . I'm not sure if I'm going to give them another try in the future. Try to support local whenever possible
Oh my. Best ramen I 've had in my life?!?!? First time trying here. Good luck finding parking. We accidentally parked in the papa John 's area and noticed the sign after that we could 've been towed. Luckily, we weren 't so be careful. Anyhow, gonna try to make this short. We had no wait, got there around 5, and ordered the garlic oyster ramen and fried chicken. They forgot about our fried chicken and brought it out after we were done with our ramen, but the ramen was so damn good, we didn 't even care about the chicken at that point. I had 3 oysters which were so YUMMY and the broth was deliciously buttery and garlicky and just HEAVENLY. I must 've said mmm after every savory bite. Been dreaming of this place since we left and dying to go back!
Really disappointed. I ordered the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and karaage set. Small portions. Thin, bodiless tonkotsu broth. Light garlic taste. Overcooked char shu. Chicken was tasteless. Asked for mayo or garlic paste to doctor the chicken; only had shoyu and chili pil as condiments. Price wascalso high for what you get. This place is rated very highly. I dont understand why.
I wouldn't go out out of my way to come here, but if you are craving Ramen, it's a pretty solid spot! Came at around 7:30pm on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. There is a free parking lot around the corner where Jamba Juice is at. Was greeted right as we walked in. Our waitress was really upbeat and friendly. Food came out really quick.FRIED CHICKEN got a 3 pc fried chicken as part of a combo. It's delicious and juicy. A great appetizer to munch on before the ramen arrivesGYOZA you can get gyoza as part of a combo or on its own as an appetizer. You can mix your own sauce using soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil. Unfortunately wasn't my favorite and pretty unforgettable. think it was just lacking flavor. SPICY F TENKAIPPIN RAMEN not listed on the main menu. They have some specials on the table and this was on of them. It doesn't come with many toppings just some spicy minced meat (I assume pork , kimchee, and green onions. I added egg and chashu on mine (both really good! . The ramen itself is definitely spicy (a little spicier than the Spicy Shin instant ramen . I personally think this ramen had more flavor than the Black Tonkatsu. If you get a chance, mix both the broth from this Spicy Ramen and the Blank Tonkatsu! Flavor explosion right there!
I went here for lunch the other day and got their famous Chicken kotteri ramen. Broth was pretty good but not mind blowing. The ramen did cost $21 which was a bit steep compared to ramen prices in Japan. Other than that ramen still was good and it did hit the spot for me.
