Rainbow Drive-in - Honolulu

Fantastic local cuisine! I had the mixed plate, and I highly recommend ordering the side of teriyaki sauce and gravy. Drizzle the teriyaki sauce generously over everything, especially on the rice. Then add a hefty amount of gravy on top of that. Just a heads up, be careful not to get the regular fries when ordering a burger!

This was our first time visiting Oahu and our taxi driver told us to try the loco moco at rainbow drive in. We came to realize quickly that loco moco is not our cup of tea. Service was fast, no line as we got there 30 minutes before closing.

Good food, big portions. a friend has brought me several times and every time the service is fast and eating hot. I enjoy the fish.

Nice local favorite. Simple setting. Only Vaccinated allowed to dine in. But allowed to wait inside while waiting for your order

The restaurant still retains its charming local flavor from over 40 years ago. I had the mix plate, which came generously covered in gravy over the rice, paired with a strawberry slush float. It was absolutely delicious!
