Super great stop for plate lunch! We stopped here on the way back from diamond head hike (they have AC which we loved). Butter Cajun fries are a must try for sure!Food: 5/5

One of my favorite lunch plate places near Waikiki : the fried yams were much tastier than expected and there were so many menu options, it was hard to chooseI personally like how they give one scoop of rice which is plenty for me to avoid food waste

Got the fried teriyaki chicken, my pick every time I come here. Crispy chicken with surprisingly great pasta side. Very tasty!

This place is a gem serving local style plate lunches. The food tastes great and the staff is friendly. It’s a great place to grab a bite and enjoy popular local cuisine.

We stopped at the Pioneer Saloon after hiking Diamond Head. You order at the outside window them seat yourself inside where they will bring your order to you. We had a 25 minute wait for our food. It was lunchtime and there was a rush. The grilled ahi was done well. The honey sweet potato tempura was yummy. It was crispy and a hint of sweetness from the drizzled honey. The ahi poke was good. They did not have avocados so did not make the poke with it today. Overall a good plate experience.A warning there us no public washroom!
