When I was in Hawaii, I came here three times a day. It is an acquired taste, so it is not for everyone. I'm talking about the roasted green tea ice cream. It's phenomenal.
I first heard about Nana's green tea when my sister suggested trying it on my trip to Tokyo. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time. Luckily there is one on this island and I finally have my chance. She loves the Matcha Green Tea Float. I didn't want an ice cream at the time, but I tried it and it was great. There was a strong matcha taste and it was not too sweet overall. I chose the hoji icy latte (redded green tea), which I thought was good. It was a nice pickup. It would probably be quiet better than swimmers. Next time I would try her ice cream myself.
If you want something different for dessert and enjoy either macha or azuki bean, give this place a try. Their drinks are sweet and treats delicious. Perhaps it’s more for those who don’t necessarily have a sweet tooth, but it’s worth a try. They’re very quick too.
My wife wanted to check this place out of Waikiki. It is on the Japanese food court and can sometimes be employed. I can't remember the name of the Dessert tea she got, but it was definitely delicious as she really packed it with a variety of different flavors. Try it!
Most legit matcha/green milk tea I 've had so far! This quarter scoop has more tea than the 8 scoops in mainland. Yes, I know most likely the scoop sizes are different. Either way, totally worth it and must have if you are in Waikiki. Down in the Japanese Food Hall. Perfect to get before or after your meal.
