Lacuracacha - Honolulu

Erster Abend auf Hawaii und wir landen beim Mexikaner! Gute Auswahl, faire Preise, aber man sitzt auf Gartenstühlen an teils klebrigen Tischen. Essen war gut und lecker. Waren Trotzdem nur einmal da, gibt viele andere Optionen um die Ecke, die uns dann mehr angesprochen haben. Wer mexikanisch mag ist hier gut aufgehoben.

From the outside it looks like a cosy place you really want to visit. The waiters are nice and have a lot to tell you, but are probably enthusiastic because they want you to tip generously.The food is pricy, but we had a nice meal. We also tried a lot of the desserts, such as deepfried twinkies. If you really want nice tacos and cocktails, it's better to visit Cheesburger in paradiseon the Kalakaua Ave: they have a much better atmosphere, great cocktails and delicious food.

We just went out walking around to try to find something open. We got there to a busy place and the guy was super friendly. He appeared to be doing everything, waiting tables, bar tending and seating people. We did not see anyone else there working. All the tables were full and he was able to keep up. Great job! The food was good! Mario was awesome!

Every visit to Hawaii we always visit the wonderful people who work and serve us the most tastiest food/mexican in Hawaii. We love the layout of this restaurant, the food of course, the blue tarantula margarita and the staff. I recommend all of my friends to at least have ONE visit to this great establishment.

Cute cantinas with great service! Try the fajitas, chimichangas, fish tacos and spicy chipotle shrimp! So ono! After moving back to the island it's been hard to find spicy delish mexican food! Also all the tequila you can think of. Definitely worth a try!
