Kam Bowl - Honolulu

We were on our way to the Polynesian Cultural Centre but have not left Honolulu yet. We drove and saw this restaurant and it was the best brunch I had in Hawai’i. I highly recommend it. Love it!

Here for lunch Google reviews and it was a good choice. There was no waiting time to sit after Vax cards and temperature checks. Garlic shrimp with Mac salad, roasted rice as add on and oyako don. Both dishes were common taste and taste as expected, but they were greasy as my pleasure. This is a restaurant for comfort and a safe option.

Adult in Hawaii, Kam Bowl Restaurant was always known for their delicious Oxtail Soup. I wanted to take my family to see if the experience I had when I was young was the same. The restaurant is a little outdated, but it doesn't matter to us. We were here for the service and the food. We have the small oxtail soup, Loco Moco, Cheeseburger w/Fries and Gyoza. The food was amazing! We enjoyed our lunch. Our waitress was also really amazing. The workers are so friendly. My family had a great experience. When we went outside to evaluate everything, we all agreed that we could not go under a 5 star. I'm sure people don't like it, but I'm here for service and food. It's an older restaurant that's been here for decades. The restaurant was still clean. This will be one of the places I will miss when we move to the mainland.

It's not here for years. We had Kauai garlic shrimps. And Oxtail Soup. Both taste very good. I would like the shrimps to be removed, more appetite and easier to peel. The place has not changed, refurbishment soon needs. Wearing and tearing up chairs, tables and carpets are noticeable. We appreciate our waitress, Sheryll, she is very friendly, nice, attentive and fast!

The Kim Chee rice and the Korean chicken were delicious. Their prices are good for the amount of food. Their Oxtail soup was okay, but not the best I've ever tasted. Their deserts though are a bit overpriced. $10.95 for a banana split is a bit much. The carpets are old and dingy and it made my shoes stick. It smells a little like wet carpet and you get whiffs of it while you're eating.
