Great side-kick to Rainbow Drive-In. Located right next store, you can avoid the long lines as long as you 're ordering their popular dishes. I like that they have bowls if you 're not really hungry enough for a plate lunch. They have local favorites like Waffle Hotdogs (ahhh...memories of peanut butter shakes from KC Drive-In) and even poke bowls. Another wonderful addition is Shimazu 's shave ice. I remember going to their original location after Hongwanji Preschool with my grandparents. The only bad thing is their limited menu and the parking is kinda tough (reverse in). But we were super happy!

The food is horrible. The picture they posted for the pastrami sandwich was not what they gave me. They gave me two pieces of bread with lettuce and sliced tomatoes with the shaved pastrami in a separate container. It's pathetic. My root beer float wasn't a float. It was just milky.

Rude a service with good food. Why 3 stars? Well the food is decent and huge portion. The flavor of poke is on point. Skip the nasty gravy chicken. The grilled chicken and pork ribs is good. But the lady behind the counter is very hard to talk to and then you have the sound of shave ice machine plus music and she gets frustrated taking your order. Lucky the lady has a job. Seriously she needs a vacation. Wait she lives in Oahu, what the heck? I guess when you live in an island isolated from the rest of the country, you can become crazy. Seating is hard to get. Shave ice is cash only even though the food stand allows credit card. Looks like bunch of owners being selfish and not wanting to make the place great. The fact that this place receives such high rating is beyond me.

Bought 2 waffle dogs. Checked if they sold beef stew, since they also sell rainbow menu items. No such luck, they had chicken stew, but my parents wanted beef. Asked if I can park in their lot to go rainbows next door, they were ok with it. Also came back after rainbows and bought ogo ¼ lb and spicy ahi ¼ lbs.
