Chubbies Burgers - Honolulu

My husband and I enjoyed our delcious burgers and the fries are lovely and crisp! There wasn’t a line, but a little wait for the order and you’ll be well rewarded! I enjoyed the lilikoi tart, which was creamy with some ‘meaty’ toasted macadamias. We’ll definitely come back!

If you find yourself in the area this is a great place to stop for a quick bite. The burgers was full of flavor and a good portion size. The onion rings were crispy along with the dynamite dipping sauce. Only waited about 10 minutes for the food to be done.

I'm a huge burger fan and this food truck hands down takes the cake for best burger I've ever had. If it's your first time go with the original burger. Simple but so juicy and delicious. I think the fresh ingredients is really what makes a burger or a sandwich delicious and the juicy patty is the cherry on top. 100% would recommend to anyone local and/or visiting. Their fries are ok but the ones with toppings are again phenomenal! The pickled onions on them are a perfect addition to the salty fries and bacon! Their onion rings are also delicious and the dipping sauce they come with are is perfect dipping sauce for them. I dipped my extra fries in it too! The price is great for Hawaii too, not cheap but not too expensive either. Will definitely be going again. Picture is of the bacon fries with pickled onions.

Wow! What a wonderful tasting burger! I’ve never been let down by a food truck and this time was no different. I had the 50’s Burger as it comes, add pickles. I was slightly worried about paying $1 for pickles but I certainly got my moneys worth. There was a layer of small pickle slices; I got pickle in every bite! The patty was perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The bun was soft and slightly sweet. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! It was super rainy on this visit so they didn’t have any tables setup outside (or possibly due to COVID). Everyone was friendly and service was fast. I was given a pager so I could wait in the car and know when my beautiful burger was ready.

I read reviews saying this was the best burger on Oahu! It is really close to where I'm at so I walked there and decided to just try a classic 50s burger add raw onion. It was indeed the best burger I've had on Oahu. I love many of them, but this just hit perfect for me. The big soft bun, the fresh tasting beef, fresh veggies and smashed patty all combined to make something Amazing! The girl who took my order was nice, and the guy who got my food out was also nice! I really like Mahaloha in Kailua and Kua'Aina in Haleiwa! But Chubbies in Kaimuki is the best! No pictures can do it justice :
