Cafe Julia - Honolulu

This is a review of the banquet facility. Attended a banquet held in the courtyard. It was beautifully lit, with comfortable space for the appetizers during cocktail hour. The menu offered was excellent, I highly recommend the lobster bisque as well as the braised Short rib. The bar prices for alcohol were reasonable but for some reason soft drinks were noticeably overpriced, they allowed both cash and credit. Street parking was available nearby or down the block near the post office.

Great atmosphere, good service, convenient location

We discovered this restaurant some years ago and we were thrilled that it has survived Covid. After the Palace tour this is the best place to go for lunch and they give you a post tour discount. The chicken Caesar salad serve size is big and it really is tasty. In spite of many previous visits we only just found out that they do serve beer and wine. The Sauv Blanc was nice and the service was excellent. Thanks folks a great family lunch much.

Delicious food. great service. it was like eating on Spanish or Italian terrace. only a beautiful little jewel. a great place to go after visiting some of the sights such as iolani palace or the justiz. a real sound.
