Cafe Asia - Honolulu

This is a lovely, clean, and tranquil restaurant where you can indulge in Shabu Shabu cuisine. They offer an all-you-can-eat option at a very reasonable price, and children aged 10 and under can enjoy the meal for half the price. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner.

Incredible culinary delights! The chef clearly knows what they're doing. The chicken and eggplant dish is exquisitely seasoned, flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the uniquely seasoned fish and fried rice, which were both outstanding. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right, with soothing music and a wonderful ambiance. We feel very fortunate to have dined here!

"Okay, here's the ironic part—I wouldn’t recommend coming here for their Shabu Shabu. Although they offer an all-you-can-eat option, the limited selection didn't impress me. However, everything else we tried was absolutely delicious! We sampled four dishes: the slow-cooked ribs, Szechuan stir-fry eggplant with chicken, popcorn chicken, and clams. Each dish was seasoned perfectly! I will definitely return when I’m back in the area. P.S.—You must order plain rice; you can’t let a single drop of sauce go to waste!"

The Cafe Asia is known for all-you-can-eat shabu menu, offering a variety of articles, mostly Japanese. Tonkotsu Ramen was delicious and noodles cooked exactly right. The soup could be served hotter and was slightly thinner compared to Rammen in Japan. Garlic Tonkatsu was a large, generous portion and slightly salty. Otherwise, the food was delicious and served quickly. The staff was pleasant and observed corresponding mask logs and social distancing.
