Ordered the chicken katsu curry at this local/Chinese BBQ spot in Don Quijote’s outdoor food court. The chicken cutlets were thin with mostly fried breading. The curry was pretty good wish there was more of it. Rice was overcooked and macaroni salad could be better. On the positive side, mini portion was large and prices very reasonable, but given the quality level, I couldn’t finish.While I was waiting, a guy with two large Walmart bags was selling 40 cans of Spam “wholesale” to the owners for $70 I guess this is how they manage to keep the prices down.Would not repeat unless really hungry and in desperate need of cheap, freshly prepared food. I’m guessing there might be a few items on the vast menu that may be worth trying. Was thinking of Loco Moco, but the photos were unappetizing.Maybe their breakfast specials are worth a try. For a comparable, L&L on Kamakee has much better quality.

Super bad costumer service, I order something and even though in the receipt it said what I order they gave me the wrong order 2 times. Yet they still blamed it on us

Food was outstanding, and for an incredible cost. Expect to only pay 9-13$ per meal, which is incredibly reasonable given the price ranges for other places in the area. The service was a tad bit slow, but other than that, it was great. Would recommend, especially since it is so close to Don Quixote, so you can get things like drinks and gifts there while you wait.

I have been eating here almost every morning for the past few days as I have a conference in Waikiki. They open early 6am which is perfect as I have to be at the convention center by 7am. The clientele is mostly regulars, same 7-8 people every morning around the same time. I always order the bacon breakfast, overeasy eggs, and rice or hash brown. The bacon (5 pieces) are perfectly cooked everytime and so are the eggs. If I go early, I get my food quickly but the later I go, the longer the wait is as they get busy as people coming in and people making phone orders. They have about 7 cleanish benches fronting the store which if convenient to eat and go. The price is very reasonable. My plate cost $6.99 tax which is a great deal with all this inflation everywhere else. This will be my go-to place for the next few more days.
