Ye Shanghai (admiralty) - Hong Kong

Super nice shanghise restaurant. The service was on the line and the food was delicious. Presentation was like fine food.. The atmosphere was like one of the demanding Rich Asians coming to have a casual dinner in the middle of the week. Definitely recommend to check!

After having been a regular visitor for over 15 years, I still come back for the very reliable kitchen, but over the years the kitchen is innovative with its theme Shanghai style food. There are traditional standard dishes, but some with a modern twist. The staff is attentive and discreet and the decor is subtle. Very suitable for an interesting lunch or cozy evening with friends. By car, taxi easy to reach, and on the admiralty travel hub is a wonderful bonus.

Ye Shanghai is your typical, spacious, family-friendly restaurant serving high-quality Shanghainese food in HK. I especially loved the crispy, but airy texture of the eel and the braided Tianjin cabbage was so mild and comforting. For more reviews: @whatssizzlinn

Very good service by the manager and the team. The food is just excellent.

Cozy and nice ambience. service is good too. at times it offers combo sets which is good value. i think the food is not really authentic shanghai food but is a more modern version which appeals to non-chinese too.
