Great experience but the food was average mainly because the restaurant are serving hundreds of diners in one sitting. Stands to reason that the quality of the food isn’t going to be up to scratch.
A cool experience but def don't go for the food. I had a lot of trouble stomaching what they served and Im really not a picky eater. The interior is rather dated but the outside of the floating restaurant is pretty cool and you have lots of nice photo ops. The boat ride over was fun as well. Overall a good experience but Id sneak a protein bar in your purse or pocket.
If they are in hong kong, they need a trip to Aberdeen harbour to the jumbo floating restaurant. it was opened in 1976 and was able to renovate with a little bit, as it looks a little bit down on site. eating is cantonese, dim, sun or western so something for everyone. they get a great view of the harbour with the Chinese junks moving. Apparently, stars have eaten like tom cruise and david bowie, so they would be in good company.
I loved it! unique destination. they take a free boat trip across the yacht harbour to this massive floating restaurant. it is quintessible an oriental artistic and architectural masterpiece. opulent, alive and absolutely huge! eating is fabulous. definitiw a memory that makes culinary experience!
