Very solid hotpot experience. The 2 flavor soup pot was great! One side for spicy eaters, the other for non spicy. Win win situation. :

Very surprised to see how high the rating was. The food is ok but with the price and service. I will go somewhere else. Service is not great, full of long nagging aunties who kept pushing expensive seafood. Also, lots of extra charges on the side. Check first !! Children need to pay 25 for all the chilli sauces too ! Unless they are in baby chair !!

Pushy. E.g. 1888 for a garoupa. Only good point is Probably not too much MSG. Probably for foreigners... Pretty empty on Fridays.. Will not visit again.

Many hotpot joints in hk, but this is by far my favorite because of the best bark discs and overall good quality and taste. Maybe it's little expensive, but this place never fails. service was good and ambiente good. if they go for hotpot instead of making it home, could also go for the best.

I don't know why many reviewers have complained about bad service because my extended family has not made any experiences. we had a family dinner dinner with an ala carte menu. the host was a friendly, friendly guy. the last time we were here, I had a dim-sum punch. so it seems that budaoweng makes all three good, including hot pot.
