Assaggio Trattoria Italiana - Hong Kong

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with a spacious outdoor area for relaxing. There is a balcony where you can enjoy a drink or meal while soaking up the sunshine. The Italian dishes such as spaghetti, risotto, steamed fish and lamb chops are cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

Only after the return of my family of nagoya on Christmas Day 2017 my wife suggested that we should watch the fireworks in 2018 from a nice restaurant. it was lucky that we were able to book this restaurant and paid the deposit for a table for two seats. while eating, drinking and services were good, we seemed too much worn as compared to the tiny dressed dame customers that came out from inside to accompany us for the sake of the sake of clarity!

Came here for a pre-melection time and it turns out pretty good! they have a promo of free an appetizer with a order of 2 glasses of wine. if they think to see the fireworks display on the harbour, this is a restaurant that they can book in advance!

Although it is a bit pricey, the restaurant offers a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a view of the sea. The tables are nicely spaced apart, which is a plus. The lunch options such as salads, soups, and entrees are plentiful and very fresh. The staff does a good job of keeping the buffet area clean and organized. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.

The restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food quality is above average and the environment is nice with a seaside view. They offer a salad bar for around hkd 168 per person, which includes Parma ham and roasted beef, as well as a tasty mushroom soup. You can also add an extra pasta or risotto for around hkd 70.
